Policies and Procedures
Payment for tutoring sessions booked, will be made upon registration. Non-compliance could result in the termination of tutoring services. Payment is required for all tutoring sessions booked in order to maintain your spot.
Moulding Minds Educational Services Ltd. ("Moulding Minds") requires a minimum commitment of 30 days (or 10 booked sessions )from all clients, and asks for 30 days notice before terminating tutoring services.) Tutoring sessions that have been booked, and then cancelled will not be reimbursed. If you unable to attend your regular scheduled time, you will not be reimbursed. This is a common policy for all registered programs and activities. Missed appointments or not showing up, will also be subject to payment for the full tutoring session fee.
Moulding Minds does not follow the Rockyview School board schedule, since students can be from different school districts. Tutoring sessions are not generally held on statutory holidays. However, tutoring sessions are typically still held on PD days and during school breaks. If your session falls on a statutory holiday, a day in lieu will be given to the student.
If a pattern of excessive cancellations or “no shows” occurs, Moulding Minds has the right to terminate the existing relationship with the client. Scheduled time slots will not be held for clients with repeating cancellations.
If the student is showing COVID symptoms, awaiting a COVID test, or waiting for results, they can attend online, as opposed to in person.
Please note: If you would like a receipt, one will be provided upon request. However, tutoring services are not tax deductible and cannot be claimed for income tax purposes, unless the student is coded through Alberta Learning, or is home schooled.

The following payment options are available by e-transfer:
One time session (Meet and Greet/Introduction/Informal Assessment)can be booked for $50/hour
10 lessons for $500
Includes initial and exit assessments
Includes all materials tailored to the individual student
Includes ongoing consultation with parents
15 lessons for $700 ($50 discount on tutoring lessons)
Includes initial and exit assessments
Includes all materials tailored to the individual student
Includes ongoing consultation with parents
20 lessons for $900 ($100 discount on tutoring lessons)
Includes initial and exit assessments
Includes all materials tailored to the individual student
Includes ongoing consultation with parents
Additional homework packages can be purchased for a prep time fee of $50
